2026 On Friday, 3 April 2026, the second GRAND Masoutis store in Attica opened its doors, serving as a precursor to the company’s highly anticipated residential development project. With the new GRAND Masoutis store in Treis Gefyres, the company is steadily strengthening its presence in Attica through a state-of-the-art residential project currently underway, which is expected to substantially upgrade the area.

Diamantis Masoutis S.A. is strengthening its presence in Epirus with the opening of a new supermarket in Ioannina, at 24 Agias Marinas Street, on 20 February 2026. In January 2026, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. and ANEDIK Kritikos S.A. signed a private preliminary agreement for the acquisition of 100% of ANEDIK Kritikos S.A. For Diamantis Masoutis S.A., this agreement forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen its market presence, support domestic production and its network of partners, while showing respect for the people of ANEDIK Kritikos S.A., consumers and local community stakeholders.

2025 June New Store in Igoumenitsa
Diamantis Masoutis S.A. continues its dynamic growth with the opening of its new store in the heart of Igoumenitsa, at 11, 49-Martyron Street, further strengthening its presence in the Epirus region and offering the local community a unique shopping experience. The new store combines friendly customer service with modern facilities, fresh Greek products, a wide range of branded and private-label goods, as well as competitive prices .

New Store on Corfu Diamantis Masoutis S.A. is further strengthening its presence on Corfu with a new store in the area of Moraitika. Continuing on its successful growth path, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. inaugurated yet another store on Corfu, in the area of Moraitika, thus expanding its network on the island to a total of 18 stores.

March New Masoutis store – MasVision Store
The first supermarket in Attica designed to be accessible and friendly to people with visual impairments has opened in Kallithea. This modern and pioneering supermarket has been designed to offer a unique shopping experience to people with visual impairments. The store is the continuation of the pioneering MasVision programme, which was first launched in Thessaloniki in 2022.

2024 January Several highly significant projects by Diamantis Masoutis S.A. were recognised at the Retail Business Awards 2023, the most renowned and longest-running institution in the Greek retail and industrial sector, honouring people, businesses and practices that stand out and continue to drive the industry forward.

In particular, it won 4 awards:
• An award in the Retail Stores – Super Market category for its store providing enhanced access to visually impaired individuals, which is located in Thessaloniki in the same area as the School for the Blind.
• A Silver award in the Private Label category for its “Masoutis from our land” products.
• A Silver award in the Best Digital Transformation category for the Management of Promotional Actions via the company’s Μasportal intranet platform, which was created as part of the company's continuous digital transformation and its continuous innovation and service improvement strategy.

April The opening of the largest Diamantis Masoutis S.A. store on Corfu.
Diamantis Masoutis S.A. occupies a leading position on Corfu with its 18 stores in top spots across the island, which is more than twice the number of stores run by the competition, with a turnover that makes up approximately 4% of the company’s overall turnover.

June Diamantis Masoutis S.A. won 3 important awards at this year’s Loyalty Awards, a Gold, a Silver and a Bronze Award, in recognition of the remarkable services and enhanced experience it offers its consumers.
The company was awarded for its customer-centred orientation, highlighting its business excellence through its successful loyalty programmes which attracted the public's interest and stood out among a host of competitive programmes.

July Having a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment and society, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. proves - in practice - that the circular economy lies at the very core of its strategy, having obtained, for 2023, Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL-EU1) certification for the company’s Logistics Centre in Kavalari, Thessaloniki.

2023 New store in Eleftheroupoli, Kavala! With an impressive opening ceremony and large crowds in attendance, the first Grand Masoutis store in Attica opened its doors on 8 December 2023 in Glyfada.

The first Grand Masoutis store in Attica is the company’s new concept, offering a fully upgraded shopping experience in a modern environment with easy access for everyone.

New impressive 1,000m2 Masoutis store in Lamia With great success, and in the presence of official representatives and large crowds, the new large Masoutis store in Lamia, located at 46 Kyprou Street, was inaugurated on Saturday, 14 October, as part of the implementation of the company’s strategic plan for sustainable organic growth. The new Masoutis store is the chain’s 390th store nationwide and is added to the two existing small stores in Lamia, with the company’s presence in the city going back to 2015.

Masoutis has breathed life into an industrial building in Thessaloniki that has a long history. The industrial building in Thermi that once housed the historical ALYSIDA shoe factory is now under the ownership of Diamantis Masoutis S.A. The reconstruction of the space and facilities of the industrial building that was once home to the historical ALYSIDA shoe factory will be used to meet current and future housing needs of Diamantis Masoutis S.A. administrative and other services.

Ten new stores in Northern Greece. In March 2023, 10 stores from the Family supermarket chain were transferred to Masoutis in the cities of Ptolemaida, Veria, Giannitsa, Aridaia, Katerini, Chrysoupoli, Komotini and in Chalkidiki in the towns of Polygyros, Nea Plagia and along the Kallithea-Kassandra national road.

Two new stores in Attica. On 3.02.2023 two new Masoutis stores opened in Argyroupoli, Attica, at 54 Ethnarchou Makariou and 25 Ilektroupoleos St., and in Keratea, Attica, at 5 Athinon Souniou Avenue, resulting from the deal with the Gegos company.

Six new Masoutis stores on Santorini, Mykonos and in Palaio Faliro! Six new Masoutis stores opened on 5.01.2023 on Santorini, Mykonos and in Palaio Faliro, five of which are retail stores and one of which is a wholesale store, resulting from the deal Denaxas Bros. The new stores come to further strengthen the company’s presence on the Cyclades islands and in Attica.

2022 New store in Eleftheroupoli, Kavala! Another new store opened on 19.8 in Eleftheroupoli, Kavala, at 81 Frixou Papachristidi Ave, as part of the expansion of Diamantis Masoutis S.A.

A new Masoutis store opened in Nafpaktos! As part of its expansion, on 12.08.2022 Diamantis Masoutis S.A. opened another new store in Nafpaktos, at 7 Th. Nova & 26 Athinon Ave.

The first D. Masoutis S.A. Dark store in Metamorfosi, Attica! On 3.8, the first D. Masoutis S.A. Dark Store opened its doors in Metamorfosi, Attica, with the aim of supporting and further developing the masoutis.gr e-shop.

New Masoutis store on Syros! As part of its expansion, Diamantis Masoutis S.A.opened yet another store on 03.08.2022 on the island of Syros, at 7 Iroon Polytechneiou & Temponera Streets, at the site of the old shipyard in Ermoupoli, as a result of its deal with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A.

18 new Masoutis stores on Corfu! The operation of all Masoutis stores on Corfu resulting from the deal with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A. to transfer the Corfu stores of Galaxias S.A. and Markato S.A. to Diamantis Masoutis S.A., was completed in July.

New store in Ioannina! A new Masoutis store opened in Ioannina on 01.07.2022 at 7 Korai Street.

Opening of two new Masoutis retail stores on the islands of Kalymnos and Tinos! On 24.6 two new retail stores resulting from the deal with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A. were added to the company’s network.

Three new Masoutis stores on the islands of Kalymnos, Milos and Tinos! On 22.06.2022 another three new Masoutis stores opened, resulting from the deal with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A.: one on Kalymnos (parish of Christ, Pothia), one on Milos (Adamantas) and one on Tinos (8 Akti Nazou St.).

Two new Masoutis stores on Milos and Chios! Diamantis Masoutis S.A. opened another two stores on 20.06.2022, as a result of the deal with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A., one on Milos (Triovasallos) and one on Chios (1 Konstantinou Monomachou Street).

New Masoutis stores on Naxos and Chios! On 20.6, as part of its expansion, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. opened another three new stores resulting from the deal with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A.: Two on Naxos (one along the Engares - Chora (Naxos town) ring road and one along the Chora (Naxos town) ring road) and one more on Chios (in the Agios Minas area at the Vagia site), where it already runs two stores.

New Masoutis store on Santorini! On 16.6 a new store opened on Santorini. The store is located at Pyrgos in the Municipality of Thira, along the “Perissa-Fira” main provincial road.

Expansion to Corfu, Aegean islands and Crete. June 2022 saw the completion of the procedures that validated the strategic agreement with SYN.KA. Kritis Yperagores S.A. The agreement includes transferring the Corfu stores of Galaxias S.A. and Markato S.A. to Diamantis Masoutis S.A. and planning the transfer of branches located on the Aegean islands. For Crete, it was agreed that Diamantis Masoutis S.A. will participate in the company’s share capital and the stores will retain their existing identity.

Thrakomakedones, Attica. A new store opened in May at 139 – 141 Thrakomakedonon Avenue.

Great Place to Work 2022. Diamantis Masoutis S.A. was awarded for the 11th consecutive year as a Great Place to Work, based on the results of the annual Best Workplaces survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute Hellas, one of the most reliable workplace evaluation surveys worldwide. Skiathos. In March we added to our network a new store on Skiathos, along the Skiathos ring road. The store was acquired from SUPERMARKET GOODS S.A. TR. SKOURAS BROS (former SPAR).

2021 Masoutis was the great winner at this year’s Super Market Awards, sweeping away 10 awards. In particular: 1. Five Gold awards in the below categories:

● Collaborative e-Commerce, for the collaboration involving the Βox application (Cosmote).

● Food-To-Go Department Development, for the ready meals departments that are already operating in many of the company’s stores.

Ηewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) won a Silver award in the ‘Network & Communications’ category for the state-of-the-art network environment it created - in collaboration with Dataways S.A. - for Diamantis Masoutis S.A., using the innovative solutions of HPE Aruba.

For the 10th year in a row Diamantis Masoutis S.A. won yet another award and was among the top 10 companies with the best work environment in Greece, based on the results of the annual Best Workplaces survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute Hellas. 2020 Masoutis e-shop. The new Masoutis e-shop has been launched. Consumers can make their purchases from their computers or telephones in a pleasant and user-friendly environment providing many options and functions to complete their orders.

Masoutis: Home delivery in 45 cities. Masoutis has expanded its ‘Home Delivery’ service to 45 cities in Greece. In this way it allows consumers to make their purchases quickly and easily by selecting one of 3 ordering methods: either via the new Masoutis e-shop, or though the call centre on 2310 2310 88, or via the mobile application (Masoutis Scan and Shop).

New Masoutis store in Ilion. Masoutis has increased its number of stores in Attica with a new store in Athens. It is located in Ilion at 28 L. Petroupoleos & Th. Sofouli Streets. The store opened its doors to consumers on Friday, 10 April.

For the 9th consecutive year Masoutis is among the top companies with the best work environment in Greece. A new Masoutis store in Kalyvia, Eastern Attica! Masoutis held the opening of a new store in Attica on 22 September 2020. It is located in Kalyvia, in the Alonia Magouliza area, near the square. The addition of this store increases the company’s presence in Attica to 54 sales points.

Masoutis is now in the Patras market with two new supermarkets! Masoutis has entered the regional unit of Achaia with a bang with two new stores. Following its expansion into Attica, Masoutis is moving into the Peloponnese, starting with Patras. The one store is located at 107 Agiou Andrea & Asklipiou Streets in the city centre and the other is located at 1 Vikela & Sofokleous St.

2019 3rd place on the list of Best Workplaces! Diamantis Masoutis S.A. is the only company in the supermarket sector to have ranked high on the list of Best Workplaces!

New Masoutis store in Kolonaki, in the heart of Athens! After the recent store openings in Palaio Faliro and Galatsi, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. opened a new store in the heart of Athens, at No 11 Amerikis Street, in Kolonaki. This is the company’s 56th store in Attica.
The opening was held on Monday 18 March 2019 and the ribbon was cut by Mrs Agapi Vardinogianni-Politi and Mr Ioannis Masoutis.

5th Masoutis store on Lesvos in Varia, Mytilini! Diamantis Masoutis S.A. held the opening of another store on Lesvos island. The new Masoutis store is located on the airport side of Varia, Mytilini, and the opening was held on Monday 22 April 2019.

2018 Masoutis has opened at Plateia shopping centre! Following its expansion to Attica with its new stores in Athens, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. is ending the year by opening a new store at the very heart of the city.

In October 2011, Diamantis Masoutis opened the spacious and ultra-modern logistics centre at Kavalari, Thessaloniki, an investment of €50,000,000. This new logistics centre meets many modern specifications, being one of the largest and most up-to-date warehouse and distribution centres in Greece and the Balkans. 35 years on from the opening of the first store 2011 was celebrated as the Company’s 35th birthday. Great discounts were made throughout the year as a gesture of thanks to customers who have shown their loyalty and put their trust in the company over those years. 24 new retail stores - 17 Cash & Carry stores During this year, 24 new retail stores and 17 Cash & Carry stores opened. 18 of these retail stores were formerly of the ‘Atlantic’ supermarket chain. All the staff from Atlantic was retained, having also recognised its previous service. A basic condition of the agreement in the purchase of the chain was honouring all the debt owed to its 280 employees.

2009 The first Green Store in Greece The first green store is opened up in December 2009 in Chloe, Kastoria.

2007 161 retail stores- 15 Cash & Carry outlets January 2007: 3 new stores are added in Trikala (formerly ‘Euromarket Maios S.A.) and one in Kavala (formerly Emporiki Enosi LTD) making a total of 161 retail and 15 Cash & Carry stores in 2007.

2005 Model Masoutis store at Mediterranean Cosmos 2005 is the year in which a new kind of retail store is established in Mediterranean Cosmos shopping mall (11th Km. on the Thessaloniki-Moudania Road)). Grand Masoutis in Veria 2005 sees Veria joining the towns with a Grand Masoutis at the 3rd km on the Via Egnatia Area, Veria-Thessaloniki Road.
